9:05 a.m Housing’s New Normal
While other industries are approaching or surpassing pre recession levels, Single Family new construction seems stuck at about half “Normal” levels. First Time Buyers (Millennials) are at a 28 year low and falling. Costs continue to rise as incomes remain flat. In this extremely opportunistic recovery, builders are being forced to reevaluate where to build, and what to build, in order to achieve continued growth. We will discuss the path forward for Atlanta’s new construction industry under this “New Normal”.
