Duncan James

Duncan James has operational responsibilities for the rapidly growing areas of professional services including consulting, outsourcing, revenue cycle services, and technology services. In addition he also has responsibility for McKesson Information Solutions' marketing strategy and execution as well as strategic planning. James previously served as senior vice president and general manager for IXL Healthcare in Atlanta. Prior to working for IXL, he was vice president of marketing for McKesson. James joined McKesson in 1995 with the company's acquisition of First Data Corporation's Health Systems Group, where he was vice president of product management for FDC's family of enterprise clinical and financial products.
Michael Reene

Once the general manager of IBM's global telecommunications business as well as a managing partner at Accenture, Michael Reene joined Enterpulse in 1999 to lead the company into its next phase of growth. In 2000, Enterpulse was rewarded with a 150 percent increase in revenue over the prior year. In 2001, the company expanded its services to the New York and San Francisco markets. Michael is deeply involved in the technology community on a number of levels and brings us a wealth of experience managing complex and growing companies.
Prior to IBM, Michael spent 17 years at Accenture. His 20 plus years of consulting experience includes advising companies and managing entrepreneurial endeavors in areas such as telecommunications, publishing and Internet start-ups. He is also a co-founder of the Consumer Financial Network (CFN), which now operates as youdecide.com.
Michael served as chairman of the Technology Association of Georgia in 2000, and is currently a member of the board. He is vice chairman of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and is chairman of its "Industries of the Mind" campaign committee. Michael also continues to serve on the boards of several private technology companies in Atlanta.
He received a bachelor's of science degree in computer science engineering from the University of Illinois and a master's of business administration in management from the University of Chicago.
Lewis Johnson

Yamacraw Seed Capital Fund
Lewis Johnson is the director of the Yamacraw Seed Capital Fund, a State of Georgia-approved $5 million fund engaged in developing next-generation technology in areas of broadband communications. In addition, Johnson is the director of the Georgia Bioscience Seed Capital Fund, a state of Georgia approved $3-5 million fund engaged in developing leading edge technology in the areas of cancer research, vaccine development and tissue engineering.
In managing the funds, Johnson's role is to identify appropriate startup investment opportunities, prepare these startups for outside private sector investment, identify appropriate lead investors, and later manage the ongoing relationship between funded startups and its investors. Prior to his current duties, Johnson was Vice President of Finance & Controller for LSG Lufthansa Service USA in Irving, Texas where he oversaw company investments and provided leadership, support and direction to affiliates, subsidiaries, joint ventures and business alliance partners. LSG Sky Chefs, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, is the market leader in flight catering and other related business. Earlier, Johnson served as International Business Development Manager for Sonoco in Hartsville, South Carolina, where he developed strategic planning and business development plans in Europe and Asia and was the direct decision-making authority for specific project analysis and selection, and pricing consideration for global accounts. Sonoco is a Fortune 500 corporation with global reach and is one of the world's largest manufacturers of packaging materials for industrial and consumer markets.
Matt Valley

Matt Valley, editor-in-chief of National Real Estate Investor, has covered the commercial real estate industry since 1995. Since he took over theeditorial reins of NREI in December 2000, NREI has received several writing awards from the Magazine Association of Georgia and The American Society of Business Publication Editors, including a national award for its coverage of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and its impact on the commercial real estate industry.
att previously served as the editor of Atlanta-based Shopping Center World and Midwest Real Estate News based in Chicago. Early in his career, Matt spent 10 years in the newspaper industry as a reporter and editor, first fora chain of weekly newspapers in metro Detroit and then as an editor with the Battle Creek Enquirer in Battle Creek, Mich., also known as Cereal City USA. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University.
