| Esmael Abidi Director A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research Chapman University |
Director of the A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research and Anderson Chair of Economic Analysis at Chapman University, received his doctorate degree in Economics from Claremont Graduate University. He joined the Chapman faculty in 1978, and was appointed director of the A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research in 1985. His research interests include macroeconomics, financial markets, and regional economics. Dr. Adibi has co-authored two textbooks, Econometric Analysis - An Applications Approach, and The Practice of Econometrics with EViews. His articles have been published in newspapers including The Los Angeles Times, and the Orange County Register, as well as professional journals such as International Advances in Economic Research, the Journal of Private Enterprise, and the Quarterly Journal of Business and Economics. Dr. Adibi is past president of the Association for University Business and Economic Research. He is a member of the NABE Outlook Survey Panel and Western Blue Chip Economic Forecast Panel. He serves on the board of managers of the "OCTFCU Mortgage Company" and is a member of California Controller's Council of Economic Advisors. |

Marlon Cook
|
Marlon is a native of Washington, D.C. and currently resides in Conyers, Georgia. He is presently the Regional Manager for the FDIC's Division of Insurance and Research in the Atlanta, Georgia Regional Office. Prior to his current assignment, Marlon was an Assistant Regional Director for the Division of Supervision and Consumer Protection in Atlanta, with responsibility for risk management matters in the State of Georgia. Marlon joined the FDIC in 1985 and became a commissioned examiner in 1989. Between 1989 and 1996, he served as a commissioned examiner in the northeast and southwestern United States before his assignment as a Case Manager in the Atlanta Regional Office from 1996 until April 1999. He was appointed Special Assistant to the Director of the Division of Supervision and Consumer Protection in 1999 prior to returning to Atlanta as an Assistant Regional Director. Mr. Cook earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Mount St. Mary's University, Emmittsburg, Maryland. He is also an honors graduate of the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mr. Cook is also a 2007 graduate of the FDICs Senior Executive Leadership Program. |
